Atec Pool creates custom steam rooms in Ticino, including the design. We guide you from the first idea to the site visit, from choosing finishes to installation and commissioning.

Designed around you
A cosy corner at home or a shared space for guests: dimensions, entrance and benches grow from your floor plan. We also plan the transitions to the shower, sauna and relaxation area.
02 · MATERIALS
Surfaces with character
Mosaics, stone-effect cladding and glass details create different atmospheres. Together, we choose finishes suited to humid environments and easy to maintain.
03 · LIGHT
Lighting and a starry sky
A illuminated starry sky on the ceiling creates an evocative atmosphere. Indirect lighting and illuminated niches complete the space. Together, we define the positioning and light colour with solutions suited to the steam room.

Do you have a room to transform or are you planning a new wellness area? We can start with a floor plan, photographs or a site visit. We assess the available space, access and installation conditions.
We define the seating layout, entrance, glazing, finishes and lighting. Where necessary, we coordinate with your architect and the professionals involved, ensuring that the steam room works harmoniously with the rest of the home or facility.

Behind the atmosphere lies precise work: insulation, waterproofing, condensation management, drains and air exchange must be coordinated with steam production.
We assess the generator, controls and connections based on room volume, finishes and intended use. We also plan access to components for maintenance: a carefully designed space should be enjoyable to use and practical to manage.

First questions before getting started.
Do I need a very large room?
The design can also be adapted to compact spaces. Feasibility depends on the layout, systems and room conditions, which we assess during the site visit.
Can I combine it with a sauna?
Yes. We can design a coordinated wellness area with a steam room, sauna, shower and relaxation area. Each space retains its own technical requirements.
Who handles the design?
Atec Pool handles the custom design and coordinates construction, including cooperation with your architect.
What determines the quotation?
Dimensions, finishes, glazing, lighting, systems and work on the room influence the proposal. We define the choices together before the quotation.
