Pool covers in Ticino
A correctly chosen cover keeps the water cleaner, reduces evaporation and heat loss, and simplifies seasonal management. We measure the pool and recommend the system suited to your use.

Why cover the pool
Less dirt
Leaves and impurities are less likely to enter the water.
Lower consumption
Evaporation and heat loss are reduced.
Greater safety
Some certified systems help prevent accidental falls.
A longer season
The water retains its temperature better and the pool is easier to reopen.
The right cover depends on the pool
Pool shape, use, safety, available space and degree of automation determine the choice.

Slatted cover
PVC or polycarbonate slats, with an above-ground or integrated roller. Elegant, practical and highly effective against evaporation and heat loss.

Bar cover
Reinforced fabric supported by bars. Robust and suitable for protecting the pool throughout the year, with manual or assisted systems.

Isola · BAC
A 6 mm floating multilayer cover to retain heat. Made to measure, with manual or motorised winding and guidance during operation. Protect with a sun cover when rolled up.

Protective mesh · BAC Schutznetz
UV-resistant mesh against leaves and dirt, secured around the pool with ground anchors. Available with Carmo eyelets, BAC clips or stainless steel eyelets. Reinforcement beams are required for snow loads.

Walk-on pool deck
A movable platform closes the pool and returns usable space to the garden or terrace. It requires precise structural design.

Telescopic enclosure
Transparent sliding modules protect the pool from the weather and extend its seasonal use.
Quick comparison
Slats: comfort and efficiency, manual or automatic; roller space and pool shape need assessment. Bars: year-round robustness, manual or assisted; operating space and fixings are required.
Isola: thermal insulation and guided winding. Schutznetz: seasonal protection against leaves and dirt; reinforcement is required for snow.
Pool deck: recovered surface, generally automatic; requires checks of the structure, tracks and load capacity. Telescopic enclosure: protection and a longer season, manual or motorised; space requirements and visual integration need assessment.
For specific needs, we also consider thermal covers, winter covers and safety systems. Actual protection depends on the model and its certification.

Frequently asked questions
Does a cover make the pool safe?
Only systems designed and certified for safety provide this function. The specific model must be checked.
Can I cover an existing pool?
In most cases, yes. Precise measurements and checks of coping, space requirements, power supply and fixings are needed.
Does the cover reduce costs?
By reducing evaporation, heat loss and dirt entering the water, it can save water, energy and cleaning time.
